Burj Al Arab
The Burj Al-Arab is named as "Tower of the Arabs" in Arabic. It is a luxury hotel in Dubai, in the largest city of the United Arab Emirates, which is marketed as "the world's first seven-star hotel".
In english "Burj Al Arab" means The Arabian Tower. Burj Al Arab was one of the most expensive buildings ever built
At night, it offers an unforgettable sight, surrounded by choreographed color sculptures of water and fire. This all-suite hotel reflects the finest that the world has to offer.
It was designed by Tom Wright of WS Atkins PLC. At 321 m, it is the tallest building used exclusively as a hotel. It stands on an artificial island 280 m out from Jumeirah beach, and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge.
Its design is stunning. The Burj Al Arab is shaped like a billowing spinnaker sail. All 28 stories of Burj Al Arab are covered in double knit Teflon that is white by day and turns rainbow colors by night.
Everything is unique; the architecture, decoration, space much space, personnel formation and attention, the variety and quality of the gastronomy, the views, the beach; an experience to be experienced. Our room was a suite, with more than 330 square meters, with a view of the Arabic sea, the shore and Dubai City.
The Burj Al Arab's atrium is the world's tallest, measuring 180 meters (600 feet) high. The interior cavity rises from the lobby level to the hotel's upper floors.
There is a private reception desk on every floor and a brigade of highly trained butlers who provide around-the-clock attention; you can be assured of a highly personalized service throughout your stay.
The hotel’s 18th floor houses a library of over 1,000 books and the luxurious Assawan Spa and Health Club. With its sauna, steam rooms, pair of pools, gym and extensive menu of treatments, it offers unlimited pampering in glittering surroundings.
The sophisticated private dining menu is served 24 hours, and offers an extensive international array of exquisite dishes and sumptuous treats. Alternatively, guests are able to coordinate a personalised menu with the Chef and Private Dining Manager, to be served within the suite.
The Burj Al Arab helipad
A helipad dramatically juts out from one of the upper Burj Al Arab's floors. Helicopters ferry guests to and from Dubai's modern international airport. "Budget-minded" guests take the hotel's Silver Cloud Rolls Royce limousines.
